Seminal vesicle fluid factors reduced in HFD-fed males, including TGF-β1, IL-10, and TNF, were among the predicted upstream regulators of differentially regulated genes. Additionally, the T-cell response induced by mating with CD-fed males was blunted after mating with HFD-fed males, with 27% fewer CD4+ T cells, 26% fewer FOXP3+CD4+ regulatory T cells (Treg) cells, and 19% fewer CTLA4+ Treg cells, particularly within the NRP1+ thymic Treg cell population. These findings demonstrate that an obesogenic HFD alters the composition of seminal vesicle fluid and impairs seminal plasma capacity to elicit a favorable pro-tolerogenic immune response in females at conception.]]> Wed 09 Nov 2022 11:05:03 AEDT ]]> It takes a community to conceive: an analysis of the scope, nature and accuracy of online sources of health information for couples trying to conceive https://nova.newcastle.edu.au/vital/access/ /manager/Repository/uon:37681 Thu 27 Jan 2022 15:55:17 AEDT ]]> miRNA regulation of immune tolerance in early pregnancy https://nova.newcastle.edu.au/vital/access/ /manager/Repository/uon:37560 Thu 18 Feb 2021 11:00:21 AEDT ]]> MicroRNA regulation of immune events at conception https://nova.newcastle.edu.au/vital/access/ /manager/Repository/uon:37559 Thu 18 Feb 2021 10:11:19 AEDT ]]> Interferon-gamma inhibits seminal plasma induction of colony-stimulating factor 2 in mouse and human reproductive tract epithelial cells https://nova.newcastle.edu.au/vital/access/ /manager/Repository/uon:37555 TGFBR2 encoding TGFB receptor 2. Conversely, TGFB1 suppressed IFNG receptor 1 and 2 genes IFNGR1 and IFNGR2. These data identify IFNG as a potent inhibitor of the TGFB-mediated seminal fluid interaction with relevant reproductive tract epithelia in mice and human. These findings raise the prospect that IFNG in the male partner's seminal fluid impairs immune adaptation for pregnancy following coitus in women.]]> Thu 18 Feb 2021 09:50:20 AEDT ]]> Roles of male reproductive tract extracellular vesicles in reproduction https://nova.newcastle.edu.au/vital/access/ /manager/Repository/uon:37679 Fri 12 Mar 2021 10:57:58 AEDT ]]> Seminal fluid factors regulate activin A and follistatin synthesis in female cervical epithelial cells https://nova.newcastle.edu.au/vital/access/ /manager/Repository/uon:37676 Fri 12 Mar 2021 10:15:52 AEDT ]]> TLR4 signaling is a major mediator of the female tract response to seminal fluid in mice https://nova.newcastle.edu.au/vital/access/ /manager/Repository/uon:37674 Fri 12 Mar 2021 10:01:58 AEDT ]]>
